She is best known for her character Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox television show Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender from the Dawson's creek series. She also played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light, a role that earned her the 2003 Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar was Cindy Thomas in the ABC program Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar starred on an episode of the NBC Happy Valley pilot which was not taken up.
